A SIMPLE TALE
La Semplice was born from a “simple” belief: cleaning tanks should be easier, safer, and more sustainable.
For decades, workers had no choice but to physically enter tanks to clean them — a long, dangerous process with serious risks for workers. We knew there had to be a better way.
Our story began in 2014 in Piemonte, Italy, when our founder, Massimo Gamba, built the first La Semplice mobile tank washing unit to help local wineries.
Today, we’re a small, dedicated team with big ambitions. From wineries and olive oil mills to chocolate factories, and even the pharmaceutical sector, we now support producers of all kinds across the world. Whatever tank you have, we have a solution designed to help.
Our four models — La Semplice, Eko, Più, and Station Wagon (SW) — are designed to meet different cleaning challenges. What unites them is our mission: keeping operators outside of tanks, saving water, reducing waste, and delivering consistent cleaning to the highest hygiene standards.
In 2024, our work was recognized at the SIMEI Awards, where we received the Technology Innovation Award for originality and impact in the wine industry. For us, this was more than an award — it was validation of a journey we’ve been on for a decade: making tank cleaning not just easier, but truly safer and more sustainable.
